Torque Tradition grew from years of interest in motorcycles and a desire to understand them beyond the surface. Over time, that interest developed through learning, experience and an increasing appreciation for the details that distinguish one motorcycle from another.
The idea for Torque Tradition came later.
Taking Shape
The decision to create Torque Tradition came from wanting to turn a long-standing interest into something with a clear purpose.
What had developed over the years around motorcycles gradually became the foundation for a business focused on bringing classic motorcycles to enthusiasts who appreciate them.
From there, Torque Tradition began to take shape.
Two-Stroke Roots
Two-stroke motorcycles have long held a particular significance in the development of Torque Tradition.
Years spent learning about them, understanding their differences and gaining hands-on experience created a familiarity that became part of the thinking behind the business. That connection remains today. Two-stroke classics are a particular area of focus for TT, while our appreciation for classic motorcycles extends well beyond them.
The Bridge
The early years of collecting revealed just how difficult finding a particular motorcycle could sometimes be. A bike could be firmly in mind, yet the opportunity to find the right one might take considerable time and persistence, or simply never appear. When it finally did, the satisfaction of finding what had been sought for so long made the wait all the more rewarding.
Those experiences became part of the thinking behind Torque Tradition. Today, TT has the opportunity to make that search less difficult for other enthusiasts by opening possibilities that may otherwise be harder to reach. Not every motorcycle can be found, nor should that ever be promised. But sometimes, creating a better opportunity to find one can make all the difference.

Torque Tradition brings together two sides of the classic motorcycle experience, offering selected motorcycles directly while also sourcing motorcycles on behalf of enthusiasts.
We source classic motorcycles from the Indian market, with a particular focus on two-strokes. The right bike may already be available or you may come to us with a particular make, model or specification in mind. In those cases, we can explore the possibilities available.
Every classic arrives with its own history, condition and individual details. Where we have selected motorcycles available for direct sale, these details will be presented clearly so you can consider whether a particular motorcycle is right for you.
The final decision belongs to the buyer. Our role is to present each bike accurately and transparently.From your initial enquiry through to arrival in the UK, we manage the process through clearly define stages. We work with you to understand what you are looking for, source and assess suitable motorcycles, co-ordinate the agreed purchase and export process, and arrange shipping to the UK. Throughout the journey, we keep you informed while clearly explaining what we manage and where third-party processes or decisions apply.
